I WOULD LIKE TO READ YOU A COMMENTARY THAT IS TAKEN FROM-- [(from New
Unger's Bible Dictionary)]
LUCIFER
(lu'si-fer; Heb. helel, "brightness"). This designation,
referring to Satan, is the KJV rendering of NASB, "star of the
morning," that is, "bright star" <Isa. 14:12-14>, probably
what we call the "morning star" (so NIV). As a symbolical representation
of the king of Babylon in his pride, splendor, and fall, the passage goes beyond
the Babylonian prince and invests Satan, who, at the head of this present
world-system is the real though invisible power behind the successive
world rulers of Tyre, Babylon, Persia, Greece, and Rome. This
far-reaching passage goes beyond human history and marks the
beginning of sin in the universe and the fall of Satan IN the pristine,
sinless spheres before the creation of man.
Similarly <Ezekiel (28:12-14>), under the figure of the king of
Tyre, likewise traces the fall of Satan and the corruption of his
power and glory. In the Ezekiel passage Satan's glorious and
splendid unfallen state is described. [[ In <Isa. 14:12-14> his
fall is depicted. In both passages representation is not
of Satan as confined to his own person but working in and
consummating his plans through earthly kings and rulers who take to
themselves divine honors and who, whether they actually know this or not,
rule in the spirit and under the aims of Satan.]] <Daniel 10:13> and
<Eph. 6:12> show that there are human as well as superhuman
agencies in world governments in the satanic world system.

WE KNOW WHERE SATAN CAME FROM HE WAS THE ANOINTED CHERUB, GOD

HAD QUITE A POSITION DIDN'T HE, THE ANOINTED CHERUB.

AND I BELIVER ARE NO MATCH TO COME UP AGAINST SATAN IN THE NATURAL. HE
KNOWS GOD. MOSES ONLY SAW THE BACK SIDE OF GOD. SATAN HAS BEEN IN THE VERY
PRESENCE OF GOD, THE VERY THRONE OF GOD.
ANYONE
HERE, BEEN ON THE HOLY MOUNTAIN OF GOD, MOST LIKELY NOT.
THAT'S
WHY SATAN IS SUCH A GOOD COUNTERFEITER. HE IS SO CLOSE TO THE TRUTH THAT
SOMETIMES IT'S HARD TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE. HE CAN MAKE THINGS LOOK LIKE THE
REAL BECAUSE OF THE CLOSE RELATIONSHIP HE ONCE HAD WITH GOD.
THAT
GIVES HIM THE ABILITY TO BE SUCH A GREAT COUNTERFEITER. LETS GO ON TO THE NEXT

THIS GOES FOR SATAN TOO. FOR INSTANCE, HE CAN'T BE EVERYWHERE, HE CAN ONLY BE IN ONE PLACE AT ONE TIME. HE HAS TO DEPEND ON HIS IMPS TO REPORT TO HIM WHAT IS GOING ON. ALSO HE CANNOT READ YOUR MIND. HE CAN PUT THOUGHTS IN YOUR MIND, BUT IT GOES NOWHERE UNLESS YOU RESPOND TO THOSE THOUGHTS. HE WOULD LIKE YOU TO THINK HE IS AS POWERFUL AS GOD BUT HE IS NOT. ALWAYS REMEMBER, HE IS A CREATED BEING, WITH LIMITATIONS JUST LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE THAT GOD HAS CREATED, HE HAS LIMITATIONS, JUST LIKE YOU AND I HAVE LIMITATIONS.

TITLED
The tempter's DIPLOMACY, TACT,
MATTHEW HENERY SAYS - We have here an account of the temptation with which Satan assaulted our first parents, to draw them into sin, and which proved fatal to them. Here observe,
I. The tempter, and that was the devil, in the shape and likeness of a serpent.
1.
It is
certain, it was the devil that beguiled Eve. The devil and Satan is the
old serpent <Rev. 12:9>, a malignant spirit, by creation an
angel of light and an immediate attendant upon God's throne, but by sin
become an apostate from his first state and a rebel against God's crown
and dignity. Multitudes of the angels fell; but this that attacked on
our first parents was surely the prince of the devils, the ring-leader in
the rebellion: no sooner was he a sinner than he was a Satan, no sooner a
traitor than a tempter, [[as one enraged against God and his glory and envious
of man and his happiness.]] He knew he could not destroy man but by debauching
him.

Balaam could not curse Israel, but he could tempt Israel, <Rev.
2:14>. The game therefore which Satan had to play was to draw our first
parents to sin, and so to separate between them and their
God. Thus the devil was, from the beginning, a murderer, and the great
mischief-maker. The whole race of mankind had here, as it were, but one
neck, and at that Satan struck.

THIS HAPPENED THE RULERS OF THE SYNAGOGUE WERE REALLY BENT OUT OF SHAPE. THEY
DIDN'T LIKE THIS AT ALL. JESUS DID THIS IN THE HOUSE OF GOD, ON THE SABBATH. SO
THEY HAVE A CONFRONTATION. AND DURING THIS CONFRONTATION, LETS LOOK AT WHAT

Satan has bound-- think of it-- for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond

THIS INSTANCE THEY CAME AGAINST JESUS HEALING THIS PERSON ON THE SABBATH. SO
JESUS MAKES A POINT HERE SAYING IF CIRCUMCISING IS HEALING, AND IT IS OK TO DO
THAT ON THE SABBATH, THEN IT IS OK FOR ME TO HEAL THE WHOLE BODY ON THE SABBATH?
THIS
PUT THE JEWISH LEADERS IN AN IMBARASSING SITUATION THEY WERE IN CONFLICT
WITH THEIR OWN LAW AND THE JEWISH LEADERS WERE ALL BENT OUT OF SHAPE.

WAS OUR FIRST EXPOSURE TO THAT BEAUTIFUL PRAISE AND WORSHIP MUSIC. THE GIFTS OF
THE SPIRIT WERE IN A CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT. THAT IS, IF SOMEONE HAD A WORD FROM
THE LORD THEY WOULD HAVE TO WRITE IT OUT, THEN TAKE IT BEFORE A PANEL. THE PANEL
WOULD THEN DETERMINE IF IT COULD BE GIVEN OR NOT.

PRAYER, HEALING AND SO ON WAS DONE BEHIND CLOSED DOORS. NOT IN THE OPEN.

WE BECAME A PART OF IT FOR SOME TIME. THE PASTOR PREACHED, BUT MUCH IT WAS TEACHING. PRAISE GOD.
GOD KNOWS WHAT YOU NEED AND WHEN YOU NEED IT.
WE HAD ONLY BEEN ATTENDING THIS LITTLE FULL GOSPEL CHURCH A SHORT TIME WHEN DURING THE WORSHIP SERVICE, (BY THE WAY WORSHIP SERVICE WAS AN HOUR LONG AND SOMETIMES AN HOUR AND A HALF LONG, BUT ONLY ONE SERVICE ON SUNDAY) AND DURING THIS WORSHIP SERVICE ON THIS PARTICULAR SUNDAY A DEMON SPIRIT STARTED TORMENTING THIS PRETTY LITTLE YOUNG CHRISTIAN WOMAN. SHE HAD TWO REAL NICE CHILDREN THEY SAT IN FRONT OF US EVERY WEEK.
HOW
MANY OF YOU KNOW DEMON SPIRIT'S GET ALL STIRRED UP WHEN WORSHIP IS GOING ON AND
THEY ARE IN THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD? MANY PEOPLE WILL TELL YOU A CHRISTIAN
CAN'T HAVE A DEMON. DON'T BELIEVE IT FOR A MINUTE! THAT TEACHING NEVER HAD A
CHANCE WITH ME. BUT IF I HADN'T EXPERIENCED THIS MORE THAN ONCE I COULD HAVE BOUGHT
INTO THIS UNTRUTH.
ANYWAY
WHEN THERE WAS A PROBLEM THAT CAME UP IN THIS CHURCH, THEY TOOK CARE OF
IT RIGHT THEN AND THERE.
THEY EXPECTED ALL BELIEVERS TO BE DOERS OF THE WORD. MOST OF THE TIME THEY WOULD MINISTER VERY OPENLY. SOME TIMES THE PASTOR WOULD STEP ASIDE AND THE MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH WOULD DO THE MINISTERING. THAT WAS THE CASE THIS TIME. A GROUP OF WOMEN FROM THE CONGREGATION MINISTERED TO THIS YOUNG MOTHER. SHE SPIT AT THEM, BARFED, THE WHOLE NINE YARDS AND IN A SHORT TIME SHE WAS DELIVERED.
THE FUNNY PART ABOUT THIS WAS, WHEN THEY STARTED MINISTERING THIS DELIVERANCE THE PASTOR SAID "ANYONE WHO ISN'T FAMILIAR WITH THESE THINGS STAY BACK OUT OF THE WAY." MY WIFE AND I MOVED FROM WHERE WE WERE SITTING TO BACK FURTHER IN THE CHURCH. THE PASTOR CAME AROUND BEHIND US WHILE THIS DELIVERANCE WAS TAKING PLACE. MY WIFE DIDN'T SEE HIM. HE TAPPED ON HER SHOULDER AND ASKED HER IF EVERY THING WAS ALL RIGHT. MY WIFE ALMOST CAME OUT OF HER SKIN. ON THE WAY HOME ABOUT A FORTY-FIVE MINUTE DRIVE, NORMALLY WE WOULD TALK ABOUT WHAT WENT ON IN CHURCH, THIS TIME, DEAD SALIENCE. FINALLY MY WIFE SAID, "WHAT DID YOU THINK ABOUT THAT?" I HAD TO REPLY I DON'T KNOW BUT THOSE WOMEN MINISTERING SURE LOOKED LIKE THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING.
WE BECAME FRIENDS WITH THESE PEOPLE THEY TURNED OUT TO BE SOME OF THE NICEST FRIENDS WE HAVE EVER MET. THEY ALWAYS LOVED DOING THE WORKS OF THE LORD.
JUST
THINK, WE WILL ALL BE TOGETHER IN HEAVEN SOME DAY. YOU KNOW THAT'S THE ONLY
THING YOU ARE GOING TO TAKE TO HEAVEN. ALL THE MATERIAL THING'S OF THIS EARTH
WILL BE GONE. CHRISTIAN FRIENDS ARE FRIENDS FOREVER.

LARGE PENTECOSTAL DENOMINATION, THEY HAVE CHURCHES IN EVERY CITY IN AMERICA,
THEY HAVE FOUR CHURCHES RIGHT HERE IN OUR SURRONDING AREA ALSO.
THEY DON'T BELIEVE A CHRISTIAN CAN HAVE A DEMON.

DROPPING DOWN TO THE NINTH VERSE JESUS GIVES THEM THEIR MARCHING ORDERS AND HE

10:9 "And heal the sick there, and say to them, 'The kingdom of God has
come near to you.' (NKJ)
GOING DOWN TO THE 17TH VERSE WE READ ABOUT THE RESULTS

10:17 Then the seventy returned with joy, saying,
"Lord, [[even the demons are subject to us in Your name."]] (NKJ)
YOU
HAVE HEARD IT SAID BY SOME PEOPLE THAT PHYSICAL HEALING WAS JUST FOR THE
APOSTLES AND IT ENDED THERE.
THESE SCRIPTURES DISPELS THAT MYTH THAT DEVINE PHYSICAL HEALING WAS JUST FOR THE TWELVE APOSTLES AND ENDED AT THAT POINT. HE JESUS SENT SEVENTY OUT.
ALSO THIS VERSE 17 TELLS US THEY “returned with joy IT MAKES YOU JOYFUL WHEN YOU CAN KNOCK THE STILTS OUT FROM UNDER THE DEVIL IN JESUS NAME.

READ IN REVELATION THAT THE DEVIL GETS
HIS DUE REWARD, CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE.
