Ps 147:1 says Praise the LORD! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful. (NKJ)
It’s so nice to come and be in the presence of the Lord where his Holy Spirit moves and gives encouragement, guidance, understanding, and knowledge, his Spirit makes crooked paths straight, amen.
1Thessalonians 5:19 TELL US Do not quench the Spirit.

- WHY DO WE SPEND TIME LOOKING AT WHAT THE DEVIL AND HIS DEMON SPIRITS ARE UP
TO? MAY I SUGGEST TO YOU THAT
WE ARE IN A BATTLE, WE ARE WARRIORS.
LOOK AT THE FRONT PAGE OF THE CHURCH BULLETIN,
IT IDENTIFIES US AS WARRIORS.
IT DOESN’T APPLY JUST TO US, IT APPLIES TO ALL CHRISTIAN BELIEVERS, THEY ARE CALLED TO BE WARRIORS.
BARBARA RICHMOND (she came here once when we were in the grange building and ministered to us) SHE SAYS, YOU KNOW YOU ARE IN A WAR BECAUSE OF THE WAY WE DRESS. IF WE WERE NOT IN A WAR, GOD WOULD TELL US TO DRESS CASUAL.

IS OF COURSE MAKING REFERENCE TO THE FULL ARMOR OF GOD IN EPHESIANS CHAPTER 6.
IT STARTS WITH VERSE 11 TO BE EXACT AND IT TELLS US TO PUT ON THE FULL ARMOR OF
GOD, AND WHAT THE FULL ARMOR WILL DO FOR US.
MAY I PROPOSE TO YOU THAT WE HAVE A REAL ENEMY OUT THERE AND THROUGH GOD'S WORD WE REALIZE, HE IS OUT TO KILL, STEAL AND DESTROY US. JESUS TELLS US IN JOHN 10:10. THIS VERSE IS QUOTED AROUND HERE QUITE OFTEN.

TELLS US TO GET INTO HIS WORD AND KNOW HIS WORD.
GOD SAYS THAT IT IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO KNOW HIS WORD.
GOD SAYS, HIS VERY OWN PEOPLE ARE DESTROYED FOR THE LACK OF KNOWLEDGE.

NEED KNOWLEDGE FOR EVERYTHING WE DO, WHETHER IT IS IN THE HOME PREPARING
MEALS AND SO ON, OR IN THE WORK PLACE TO PERFORM A JOB, SAME IS TRUE IN THE
KINGDOM OF GOD, IN THE SPIRITUAL REALM, WE NEED KNOWLEDGE.

WE COVERED WHAT HE DID TO OUR FIRST PARANTS IN THE VERY BEGINNING? Gen 3: VERSES

OUR FIRST PARENTS ENCOUNTER WE FOUND OUT THE DEVIL LIED TO THEM AND DECEIVED
THEM.
SO WHAT DID GOD DO TO THE DEVIL? GOD CURSED THE DEVIL AND SAID YOU WILL EAT DUST ALL THE DAYS OF YOUR LIFE.

3:14 TELLS US THAT. So the LORD God said to the serpent: "Because you

WE READ WHAT HIS DOWNFALL WAS, AND THAT WAS PRIDE

DID JESUS DO ANYTHING CONCERNING THE DEVIL AND HIS DEMON SPIRITS? THE WORD SAYS JESUS CAST THEM OUT. PAUL TELLS US IN COLOSSIANS 2:15

IS THE ACCOUNT IN MATTHEW THAT JESUS HAD WITH THE DEVIL IN
THE VERY BEGINNING
JESUS AND -- "the tempter" -- THE DEVIL IN MATTHEW CHAPTER FOUR WE READ

Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.
VERSE 2 And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry.

WANT TO STOP HERE AND MAKE A REMARK.

HAVE NOTICED IN MY OWN LIFE WHEN I WAS TIRED OR ANXIOUS OR MAYBE EVEN
VERY HUNGRY THE DEVIL HAS MADE MOVES ON ME, MOST OFTEN IN MY MIND, HE HAS GIVEN
ME THOUGHTS, TO TRY AND TRIP ME UP. SO
I CAUTION EVERYONE TO BE ON YOUR GUARD, HE JUST MIGHT WANT TO PULL VERIOUS
THINGS ON YOU. HE DID IN JESUS ENCOUNTER.
AFTER FORTY DAYS AND NIGHTS JESUS WAS HUNGRY. WE SEE HERE THAT JESUS MIND
WAS ON FOOD AT THAT TIME, HE PROBABLY WAS IN A WEAKER STATE, IT DOESN’T SAY SO
IN THE WORD, BUT IT IS A POSSIBABLY. THAT’S WHEN THE DEVIL SAW THE OPPORTUNITY
AND HE CAME TO JESUS TO TEMPT HIM WHEN HIS MIND WAS ON SOMETHING ELSE, THIS TIME
IT WAS ABOUT GETTING SOMETHING TO EAT.
CONTINUING ON MATTHEW CHAPTER 4: to verse 3 Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, "If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread."

AT THIS FOR A MINUTE. THE DEVIL IS USING THE WORD OF GOD ON JESUS.
[[THE DEVIL IS QUOTING PSALM 91]].
DOES THE DEVIL KNOW THE WORD OF GOD?
HE
SURE DOES, HE IS QUOTING IT RIGHT HERE.
IF THE DEVIL TRIED TO TWIST THE WORD AROUND ON JESUS, THEN THERE IS A STRONG POSSIBILITY THAT YOU AND I ARE NOT EXEMPT. NOW WE ARE BEGINNING TO SEE HOW THE DEVIL OPERATES. HE OPERATES IN HALF TRUTHS.

GIVES THE DEVIL AN ANSWER IN VERSE 7

IS TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION THE WHOLE COUNSEL OF GOD.
JESUS GOES TO THE WORD OF GOD.

CAN USE THE WORD ON HIM, OR YOU CAN SAY AWAY WITH YOU SATAN, OR GET
BEHIND ME SATAN. YOU CAN SEND HIM
AND HIS MINISTERING SPIRITS SOME WHERE, THEY DON’T LIKE TO GO TO THE PIT.
I PERSONALLY BIND HIM UP DAILY AND SEND HIM AND HIS MINISTERING SPIRITS
TO THE CROSS, EVERY DAY. REMEMBER
YOU HAVE TO VOICE IT. THE DEVIL
CAN'T READ YOUR MIND, HE CAN PUT THOUGHTS IN YOUR MIND, AND HE DOES, BUT HE

YOU HAVE ALIGNED YOURSELF WITH GOD, ACCEPTED JESUS IN YOUR HEART, AND USE THE
WORD TO COME AGAINST HIM, THEN YOU ARE THE DEVIL'S ENEMY.
HE IS GOING TO PLAY WITH YOUR MIND, HE IS GOING TO USE WORDS.
HE MAY EVEN TAKE THE WORD OF GOD AND TWIST IT A LITTLE BIT, AND TRY TO
GET YOU OFF TRACK, AFTER ALL HE TRIED IT WITH JESUS.
WHEN
YOU GET TO THE POINT WHERE YOU KNOW AND UNDERSTAND YOUR AUTHORITY OVER HIM, AND
KNOW HOW TO EXERCISE THAT AUTHORITY, HE IS IN DEEP TROUBLE AND HE KNOWS IT. HE
IS GOING TO TRY TO KEEP YOU OUT OF THE WORD.
HE IS GOING TO PLANT THOUGHTS IN YOUR MIND, I AM TOO TIRED TODAY, I AM
TOO BUSY TODAY, I HAVE READ THAT BEFORE, I'LL DO THAT TOMORROW.

Philistine arose and came and drew near to meet David, that David hastened and
ran toward the army to meet the Philistine.

IS THE FIRST DELIVERANCE I EVER WITNESSED.

WOULD LIKE TO SHARE IT WITH YOU. BACK
IN THE EIGHTIES MY WIFE AND I WERE ATTENDING OUR FIRST FULL GOSPEL CHURCH IN THE
SYRACUSE, N.Y. AREA. WE BECAME A PART OF IT FOR SOME TIME.
WE
HAD ONLY BEEN ATTENDING THIS LITTLE FULL GOSPEL CHURCH A SHORT TIME WHEN DURING
THE WORSHIP SERVICE, (BY THE WAY WORSHIP SERVICE WAS AN HOUR LONG, SOMETIMES AN
HOUR AND A HALF ONLY ONE SERVICE ON SUNDAY) AND DURING THE WORSHIP SERVICE ON
THIS PARTICULAR SUNDAY, A DEMON SPIRIT STARTED TORMENTING THIS PRETTY LITTLE
YOUNG CHRISTIAN WOMAN. SHE HAD TWO REAL NICE SMALL CHILDREN. THEY SAT IN FRONT
OF US EVERY WEEK. HOW MANY OF YOU KNOW DEMON SPIRIT'S GET ALL STIRRED UP WHEN
THEY ARE IN THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD DURING A WORSHIP SERVICE? MANY PEOPLE WILL
TELL YOU A CHRISTIAN CAN'T HAVE A DEMON. DON'T BELIEVE IT NOT FOR A MINUTE! THAT
TEACHING NEVER HAD A CHANCE WITH ME BECAUSE OF THIS EXPERIENCE and
others.
THERE
IS A LARGE FULL GOSPEL DENOMINATION THAT DOESN’T BELIEVE A CHRISTIAN CAN HAVE
A DEMON. THE DEVIL CAN HAVE A FIELD
DAY WITH THAT BELIEF. ANYWAY DURNING THIS SERVICE THAT I AM TALKING ABOUT THEY
STOPPED THIS WORSHIP SERVICE AND THEY MINISERED DELIVERANCE TO HER.

DELIVERANCE TO A LADY THAT LIVED IN AN APARTMENT HOUSE.
AND WHEN THE GUY'S WIFE IN THE OTHER APARTMENT WENT TO VISIT RELATIVES,
SHE WOULD JUMP IN BED WITH HIM. THAT TYPE OF ACTIVITY LEAVES THE DOOR OPEN FOR
THE WRONG SPIRITS TO ENTER THE PICTURE.
THAT
DOESN'T MEAN TO IMPLY THAT IT IS ALWAYS GOING TO HAPPEN THAT WAY, BUT IN
THIS CASE IT DID.
WELL
THE LADY GOT DELIVERED. LATER ON DOWN THE ROAD THE MANS WIFE LEFT AGAIN AND SHE
JUMPED IN BED WITH HIM AGAIN.
AFTERWARDS
SHE REQUESTED DELIVERANCE AGAIN,
ONLY
THIS TIME, IT WAS A MESS. IT WAS JUST LIKE THIS SCRIPTURE VERSE "THE LAST
STATE OF THE MAN WAS WORSE THAN THE FIRST." THIS WAS A REAL TOUGH HARD
DELIVERANCE THE SECOND TIME AROUND. NOT A PLEASANT THING AT ALL.
