Welcome – Greetings to everyone it’s a nice day today.

TY for coming here, it’s so nice to see people gathered together in the name of the Lord.

Matt 18:20 "For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them." (NKJV)

Jesus is in our midst today, right here, right now, how about that.

A TY to all involved in the Worship for all your effort in bringing us into that relationship place with the Lord, what a blessing that is and it’s not to be taken lightly it’s really a great blessing!

Ps 147:verse 1 says, Praise the LORD! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful. (NKJ)

If we have accepted Jesus in our hearts, as most of us here have, if for nothing else we can praise him for saving us from the pits of hell but we have a lot more than that to praise him for. AMEN

It’s so nice to come and be in the presence of the Lord where his Holy Spirit moves and gives us encouragement and guidance, knowledge and understanding, At times His Spirit may bring correction which may not be pleasant but it is all for our good. Amen.

Father bring to our attention all you would have us know, and give us insight and understanding into everything you would have us glean from your word. Amen

Christian science .... heals through the mind.

Medical science .... heals through the physical.

God .............. heals by his SPIRIT.

Is healing for today?

What does the bible, God’s word, have to say about healing?

Do some people receive healing without even asking?

(I did in one profound instance, and for sure at many other times also.

(ex your first back problem)

Do you have to be born again to receive healing?

Can a person pray for someone to receive healing from a long distance, like say from New York to California?

Should we stop praying for healing if we don’t see the manifestation of the healing right away?

How did most of us receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, well in my case anyway it was by asking for it?

Can we receive healing by asking for it? Yes.

In I Jn 5:14&15 it says, Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. (NKJ)

The bible also says you have not because you ask not,

That is found in. James 4:2

These are just some of the questions we will be covering and more.

Before we go to some healing examples in God’s word let's look at a very important key verse. Jesus said this in John 14:12

"Most assuredly, I say to you, [[he who believes in Me,]] [the works that I do, he will do also;] and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.

That verse is so very important lets read it again. John 14:12 ..

Take special note of words "HE WHO BELIEVES IN ME" (that's you and I, who are believers) and "THE WORKS THAT I DO HE WILL DO HE WILL DO ALSO", JESUS said this. If you are looking at a bible that has the words of Jesus in red letters you’ll find this verse in red letters. Let’s take a look at some of the works Jesus did, starting out with the first gospel, the gospel of Matthew.

You are going to get excited when you look at the works Jesus did and you will really get excited when you come to realize this is for me.

So much of Jesus ministry here on earth was meeting the physical needs of the people with healing and deliverance. Let's look at some of it.

JESUS IS OUR ULTIMATE EXAMPLE amen.

JESUS HEALING MINISTRY IN THE BIBLE STARTED WITH THE GOSPEL OF MATTHEW WE WILL GO THERE.

We will also be looking at the other three gospels, but first Matthew.

As we look at these people we will notice there are many different things going on in each of their lives but we are going to focus in on the fact that EACH PERSON HAD A PROBLEM, either physical or mental and

THE PROBLEM WAS RESOLVED.

Yes there can be a hindrances to receiving a healing: unforgiveness in you heart is one, or unbelief is another, or whatever.

If we repent of these things, and make a sincere turnaround, all these things can be worked out, if we have a willing heart.

Matthew chapter 4 and continuing.

Matt 4:23 this verse says, And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.

NOTICE, THE WORD SAYS, ALL KINDS OF SICKNESS AND ALL KINDS OF DISEASES.

YOU DON'T HAVE A DISEASE OR SICKNESS THAT JESUS CAN'T HEAL.

`` 1 Matt chapter 4 Verse 24 the very next verse, Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.

IT DIDN'T TAKE LONG FOR HIS NAME TO GET AROUND WITH MIRACLES AND HEALINGS AND DELIVERANCE TAKING PLACE.

THE PEOPLE HAD MANY NEEDS BACK THEN AND THAT IS STILL TRUE TODAY. MANY PEOPLE HAVE MANY VARIOUS NEEDS TODAY.

I’M WAY UP IN YEARS AND OVER THE YEARS HAVE I HAD MANY, MANY, NEEDS, SEVERAL NEEDS. THESE BODY PARTS HAVE WARE ON THEM. ALMOST EVERYONE HAS NEEDS.

`` 2 Let's stay in the same book and go ahead 4 chapters to

Matthew chapter 8 Verse 2 and I am reading

Matt 8:2 And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, "Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean."

3 Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, "I am willing; be cleansed." Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Immediately, I like that word immediately, don’t you?

IS IT GOD'S WILL TO HEAL THE SICK? THE LEPER SAID,

"LORD IF YOU ARE WILLING"

JESUS SAID QUOTE "I AM WILLING" PRAISE GOD.

This answers one of our questions that was brought up in the beginning.

Is it God’s will to heal, Jesus said “I am willing.”

THE LATE CHARLES CAPPS SAID "IF YOU HAVE A RELATIVE WHO DIES AND YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT'S IN THE WILL, YOU READ THE WILL." HE SAID, IT IS THE SAME THING WITH GOD'S WORD. IF YOU WANT TO KNOW IF IT IS GOD'S WILL TO HEAL, YOU READ HIS WORD ON THE SUBJECT.

IN THIS CASE, WE JUST DID THAT, AND WE GOT OUR ANSWER.

IT IS GOD'S WILL TO HEAL, YES, WE HAVE HIS WORD ON IT.

This is a good time to recall what was said in Hebrews 13:8

Heb 13:8 says, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.

SO IT IS GOD'S WILL TO HEAL? YES, again we have his word on it.

`` 3 ANOTHER JESUS STORY We are still here in Matthew chapter 8 and we are reading verses 5, 6, 7, & 8

Matt 8:5 and continuing, Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him, verse 6 saying,

"Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented."

7 And Jesus said to him, "I will come and heal him."

8 The centurion answered and said, "Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word and my servant will be healed.

Here is the result, Matt 8:13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, "Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you." And his servant was healed that same hour.

IS IT POSSIBLE, FOR EXAMPLE, TO PRAY FOR SOMEONE'S HEALING LONG DISTANCE SAY N.Y. TO CALIFORNIA? YES IT IS!! A THOUSAND TIMES YES!

DID THE CENTURION BELIEVE GOD? HE SURE DID. JUST THINK OF ALL THAT GOD WILL DO FOR US IF WE WILL ONLY BELIEVE HIM AND ACT ON HIS WORD.

ANOTHER JESUS STORY We are still in Matthew chapter 8 now to the next verse, verse 14

`` 4 Matt 8:14 Now when Jesus had come into Peter's house, He saw his wife's mother lying sick with a fever.

15 So He touched her hand, and the fever left her. And she arose and served them. (Take note she didn’t ask for the healing but she received it.)

16 When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, Again notice that word ALL

DON'T YOU JUST LOVE JESUS STORIES? LOOK AT HOW JESUS IS MEETING THE NEEDS OF ALL THE PEOPLE. Next chapter, chapter 9

[[[[ Matt 9:2 Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you."

ONE OF THE VERY IMPORTANT KEYS SAID IN THIS VERSE, THEIR FAITH,

JESUS SAW THEIR FAITH, NOT SOMEONE ELSE'S FAITH BUT THEIRS.

Then dropping down to verses 6 & 7

Matt 9:6 "But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins"-- then He said to the paralytic, "Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house."

Verse 7 And he arose and departed to his house.

HE, THE PARALYTIC HAD A NEED AND JESUS MET IT.

BUT FIRST LET'S TAKE A SIDE TRIP WE WILL RETURN RIGHT BACK HERE TO MATTHEW CHAPTER 9, JESUS SAID IN JOHN 6:63

John 6:63 "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. That is John 6:63

GOD’S WORDS ARE SPIRIT AND LIFE, IT SAYS SO RIGHT HERE.

WHEN A BELIEVER SPEAKS THE WORDS OF JESUS, THERE IS LIFE IN THE WORD OF GOD.

REMEMBER THE VERSE WE STARTED OUT WITH, JOHN 14:12 "Most assuredly, I say to you, [ He who believes in Me,]] [the works that I do] he will do also;] and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.

KEEP THAT IN MIND AS YOU AND I READ THESE JESUS STORIES.

ANOTHER JESUS STORY IN, chapter 9 of Matthew.

` 5 Matt 9:verse 20 And suddenly, a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years came from behind and touched the hem of His garment. (NKJ)

DOWN TO VERSE 22 the result

22 But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, "Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well." And the woman was made well from that hour.

HERE AGAIN JESUS POINTS OUT HOW IMPORTANT FAITH IS,

"YOUR FAITH HAS MADE YOU WELL."

THANK YOU FATHER FOR JESUS STORIES. I SAID THANK YOU FATHER FOR JESUS STORIES.

I SAID THAT FOR A REASON. JESUS SAID IN

John 5:19 Then Jesus answered and said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. (NKJ)

DON'T EXAMPLES OF JESUS HEALING MINISTRY BUILD UP YOUR FAITH LEVEL ALMOST TO OVERFLOWING PRAISE GOD

HERE GOES JESUS AGAIN Same chapter ahead to the 27 th verse

`` 6 Matt 9:27 When Jesus departed from there, two BLIND MEN followed Him, crying out and saying, "Son of David, have mercy on us!"

28 And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this? " They said to Him, "Yes, Lord."

29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, "According to your faith let it be to you."

HERE WE GO WITH THAT WORD FAITH AGAIN.

DO YOU THINK THE BLIND MEN WOULD CRY OUT TO HIM IF THEY THOUGHT JESUS COULDN'T DO, OR SHALL WE SAY PERFORM THE MIRACLE THAT THEY NEEDED?

MAY I SUGGEST TO YOU IT'S RATHER DOUBTFUL.

According to Jesus, their faith played a very important part in these two blind men receiving their miracle, their sight.

Verse 30 gives us the results and it says, “And their eyes were opened.”

Let’s look at another man they brought to JESUS. This time, still in the same chapter

` 6 Matt 9:32 As they went out, behold, they brought to Him A MAN, MUTE and DEMON-POSSESSED. Next verse

33 And when the demon was cast out, the mute spoke. And the multitudes marveled, saying, "It was never seen like this in Israel!"

Let’s go OVER TO gospel of JOHN FOR A MOMENT.

WE will be COMING HERE RIGHT BACK TO MATTHEW.

I John 3:8 SAYS, For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

HOW MARVELOUS, THE DEVIL AND HIS IMPS GET THE BOOT.

THAT VERSE WAS FIRST JOHN 3:8

BACK HERE IN MATTHEW,

NOW LET'S GO TO THE 15TH CHAPTER DOWN TO VERSE 22

This is another encounter Jesus had with the devil’s boys.

`` 7 Matt 15:22 And behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying, "Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed."

Down to verse 28

Matt 15:28 Then Jesus answered and said to her, "O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire." And her daughter was healed from that very hour.

THIS IS ANOTHER EXAMPLE WHERE JESUS POINTS OUT THAT THE WOMANS FAITH WAS AN IMPORTANT FACTOR.

ANOTHER JESUS STORY this time in Chapter 17 verse 15

` 8 Matt 17:15 "Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water.

AND IN VERSE 18 WE ARE TOLD THE RESULT.

Matt 17:18 And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour.

NOW HERE IS ANOTHER JEAUS STORY OF TWO BLIND RECEIVING THEIR SIGHT

`` 9 Matthew chapter 20:verse 30 And behold, two blind men sitting by the road, when they heard that Jesus was passing by, cried out, saying, "Have mercy on us, O Lord, Son of David!"

Matt 20:verse 32 So Jesus stood still and called them, and said, "What do you want Me to do for you?"

Next verse, verse 33 They said to Him, "Lord, that our eyes may be opened.

34 So Jesus had compassion and touched their eyes. And immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed Him.

TAKE NOTE -- DOES JESUS WANT TO SEE PEOPLE INCOMPLETE OR SUFFERING FROM INFIRMITIES OR SICKNESS OR DISEASES?

IT SAYS HERE QUOTE "JESUS HAD COMPASSION ON THEM"

WE SERVE A COMPASSIONATE CARING GOD!

LET’S GO ON TO THE NEXT GOSPEL THE GOSPEL OF MARK ANOTHER JESUS STORY

MARK CHAPTER 1 VERSE 23 AND THE FOLLOWING 3 VERSES

[X Mark 1:23 and following, Now there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit. And he cried out,

24 saying, "Let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are the Holy One of God!"

25 But Jesus rebuked him, saying, "Be quiet, and come out of him!"

26 And when the unclean spirit had convulsed him and cried out with a loud voice, he came out of him.

THERE WAS A NEED AND JESUS MET THE NEED

THEN TURNING OVER TO SEVENTH CHAPTER IN MARK

THIS NEXT MAN RECEIVED A DOUBLE HEALING verse 32 OF MARK CHAPTER 7

`` 10 Mark 7:32 Then they brought to Him one who was deaf and had an impediment in his speech, and they begged Him to put His hand on him.

DROPING DOWN TO VERSE 35 THE RESULT

Mark 7:35 Immediately his ears were opened, and the impediment of his tongue was loosed and he spoke plainly.

JESUS NEVER STOPPED WORKING, SHOULD BEIIVERS QUITE WORKING?

IF JESUS IS OUR EXAMPLE, AND HE IS, THE ANSWER TO THE QUESTION IS NO.

JESUS KEPT RIGHT ON GOING DAY AFTER DAY THIS IS CONVICTING TO ME, PERHAPS ALSO FOR YOU.

WE SHOULD NEVER STOP PRAYING FOR PEOPLE.

AS WE KEEP READING ABOUT JESUS HEALING MINISTRY KEEP IN MIND AGAIN WHAT JESUS SAID TO THE BELIVERS IN

John 14:12 again quote "Most assuredly, I say to you, [[he who believes in Me,]] [the works that I do, he will do also;] and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.

OK THAT WAS THE DEAF MAN WITH THE SPEECH IMPEDIMENT.

NOW ANOTHER BLIND MAN

` 11 Mark 8:22 Then He came to Bethsaida; and they brought a blind man to Him, and begged Him to touch him.

THE RESULT IS IN VERSE 25

Mark 8:25 Then He put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up. And he was restored and saw everyone clearly.

IS ANY PROBLEM TOO BIG FOR GOD, NO, A THOUSAND TIMES NO.

THERE IS ANOTHER WORSHIP SONG THAT HAS THESE WORDS IN IT.

NOTHING IS TO DIFFICULT FOR THEE X2, GREAT AND MIGHTY GOD GREAT IN COUNSEL AND MIGHTY IN DEED NOTHING, NOTHING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, NOTHING IS TOO DIFFICULT FOR THEE

NOW LET’S GO ON TO THE BOOK OF LUKE TO CHAPTER 13 ANOTHER JESUS STORY.

`` 12 Luke 13: verse 11 AND FOLLOWING “And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up.

12 But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, "Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity."

13 And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.

I LIKE THAT WORD IMMEDIATELY. WE SERVE AN IMMEDIATE GOD.

THE LAYING ON OF HANDS ISN'T JUST A NEW TESTAMENT THING.

IN Deuteronomy CHAPTER 34:verse 9 it tells us, Now Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him; so the children of Israel heeded him, and did as the LORD had commanded Moses.

ANYWAY CONTINUING ON IN LUKE CHAPTER 14 JESUS AGAIN

3 And Jesus, answering, spoke to the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, "Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?"

4 But they kept silent. And He took him and healed him, and let him go.

NEXT JESUS HEALS THE TEN LEPERS This time we will go ahead to Luke chapter 17

` 13 Luke CHAPTER 17:VERSES 12,13,&14 Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off.

13 And they lifted up their voices and said, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!"

14 So when He saw them, He said to them, "Go, show yourselves to the priests." And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed.

LET'S MOVE ON TO THE NEXT GOSPEL THE GOSPEL OF JOHN CHAPTER 4 VERSES 46 & 47 & also verses 50 & 51

` 14 John 4:46 So Jesus came again to Cana of Galilee where He had made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum.

47 When he heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, he went to Him and implored Him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death.

AND IN JOHN 4:50 THE RESULT

John 4:50 Jesus said to him, "Go your way; your son lives." So the man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way.

51 And as he was now going down, his servants met him and told him, saying, " Your son lives! "

THERE WAS A NEED AND JESUS MET IT.

NEXT CHAPTER ANOTHER JESUS STORY CHAPTER 5

` 15 John chapter 5:VERSE 5 Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years.

John 5:8 Jesus said to him, "Rise, take up your bed and walk."

Verse 9 tell us the result.

9 And immediately the [man was made well], took up his bed, and walked. And that day was the Sabbath.

WE HAVE NOW READ IN THE 4 GOSPELS SOME OF THE VARIOUS ACCOUNTS OF JESUS HEALING THOSE THAT CAME TO HIM WITH VARIOUS NEEDS AND HE HEALED ALL OF THEM.

AND DID YOU NOTICE HOW MANY TIMES THE WORD FAITH AND BELIEVED WERE MENTIONED, THAT CAME UP PRACTUALLY IN EVERY INSTANCE.

THEN HE (JESUS) GAVE US JOHN 14:12 WHICH WE HAVE READ NUMORIOUS TIMES. NOW HE HAS ALSO HAS GIVEN US

THE GREAT COMMISSION IN THE GOSPEL OF MARK.

WE WILL READ THAT RIGHT NOW.

Mark 16:15 AND FOLLOWING “And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

16 "He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

VERSE 17 "And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;

JESUS SAID "IN MY NAME "IN MY NAME" THAT IS POWER OF ATTORNEY.

Mark 16:18 "they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."

AGAIN TAKE NOTE "THEY WILL LAY HANDS ON THE SICK AND THEY WILL RECOVER"

GOD LOVES YOU AND I AND HE WILL MAKE A WAY WHERE THERE SEEMS TO BE NO WAY. IN THE LORD'S PRAYER IT SAYS,

Matt 6:10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

JESUS SAID THY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.

IT IS NOT GOD'S WILL THERE BE SICK PEOPLE IN HEAVEN,

AND IT'S NOT GOD’S WILL THAT THERE BE SICK PEOPLE HERE ON EARTH.

WE ARE LIVING IN THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH AGE, YES, THAT’S US! YOU AND I.

YOU AND I ARE IN THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH AGE OF TODAY.

Gary Kinnaman Who was at one time Senior pastor Word of Grace Church in Mesa Az he comments many things about the Book of Acts and says among other things “Acts is a sequel to the life of Christ in the Gospels and records the spread of Christianity from Jerusalem to Rome. He goes on to say, “the personal Application of Acts is a record of practicing Christianity under the power of the Holy Spirit.”

NOW THAT WE HAVE READ THAT REMARK LET’S READ

Acts 2:17 and it says 'And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams. (NKJ)

NEXT WE WILL READ EXAMPLES OF PRACTICING CHRISTIANITY UNDER THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

WE WILL START AT Acts chapter 3 verse 2 THIS IS AN ACCOUNT OF WHAT JESUS DID THROUGH PETER

` 1 Acts 3:2 And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple;

Acts 3:2 IN THE NIV THIS VERSE IS STATED THIS WAY.

BY THE WAY EVERYTHING WE HAVE READ SO FAR HAS BEEN FROM (NKJV)

NIV Acts 3:2 Now a man crippled from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts.

REMEMBER NOW, THIS GUY WAS BORN THIS WAY.

THEY CARRIED HIM DAILY TO THE TEMPLE GATE.

Acts 3:6 Then Peter said, "Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk."

PETER IS USING THE VERY SAME WORDING OF THE GREAT COMMISSION THAT JESUS GAVE EVERYONE.

“IN MY NAME” THE NAME OF JESUS

Next verse, verse 7

Acts 3:7 And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

8 So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them -- walking, leaping, and praising God.

In Acts 4:22 WE ARE GIVEN THE DESCRIPTION OF THE MAN quote For the man was over forty years old on whom this miracle of healing had been performed. That’s Acts 4:22

THIS GUY, HAS BEEN THIS WAY, FORTY YEARS. THINK ABOUT THAT, 40 YEARS. VERSE 2 SAID, “from his mother's womb” HE WAS BORN THAT WAY. WELL THE MAN SURE CHANGED AFTER HIS ENCOUNTER WITH PETER, PETER SAID “IN THE NAME OF JESUS”

Over In the next chapter, chapter 5 verse 12 it says, quote,

Acts 5:12 And through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. And they were all with one accord in Solomon's Porch.

STOP AND THINK ABOUT THIS, NOT ALL THE SIGNS AND WONDERS THAT WERE DONE HAVE NOT BEEN RECORDED.

STILL IN ACTS CHAPTER 5 VERSE 16

Acts 5:16 Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.

NOT SOME, BUT ALL. HOW WONDERFUL. PRAISE THE LORD

CONTINUING ON IN THE BOOK OF ACTS, THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH, GOING TO CHAPTER 8 AND VERSES 5, 6, 7, 8, WE READ ABOUT PHILIP

` 2 Acts 8:5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them.

6 And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.

7 For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed.

8 And there was great joy in that city.

WHEN PEOPLE ARE HEALED, DELIVERED AND SET FREE, NOT ONLY IS THAT PERSON HAPPY BUT IT ALSO BRINGS JOY TO EVERY ONE OF US.

BY THE WAY, PHILIP WAS NOT AN APOSTLE HE WAS AN EVANGLIST. Nelsons bible dictionary says this about Philip, quote

4. Philip the evangelist, one of the seven men chosen to serve the early church because they were reported to be "full of faith and the Holy Spirit" And Nelsons bible dictionary refers to Acts 6:5

I ONLY BRING THIS UP BECAUSE IT HAS BEEN SAID BY SOME THAT HEALINGS STOPPED WITH THE APOSTLES BUT AGAIN PHILIP WAS NOT AN APOSTLE, HE WAS AN EVANGLIST.

AS WE GO ON TO THE NEXT CHAPTER IN ACTS CHAPTER 9, WE READ ABOUT PETER AND ANOTHER MIRACLE THAT HE WAS INVOLVED IN.

PETER, ACTS CHAPTER 9 VERSE 32 AND THE FOLLOWING NEXT 3 VERSES

` 3 Acts 9:32 Now it came to pass, as Peter went through all parts of the country, that he also came down to the saints who dwelt in Lydda.

33 There he found a certain man named Aeneas, who had been bedridden eight years and was paralyzed.

34 And Peter said to him, "Aeneas, Jesus the Christ heals you. Arise and make your bed." Then he arose immediately.

35 So all who dwelt at Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord.

EVERYONE AROUND KNOWS THIS MAN HAS BEEN BEDRIDDEN FOR A LONG TIME. THAT MIRACLE MADE BELIEVERS OUT OF A LOT OF PEOPLE. VERSE 35 SAYS QUOTE So all who dwelt at Lydda and Sharon turned to the Lord

DO YOU THINK THIS GOING TO HAPPEN IN GODS END TIME MOVE? I BELIEVE WE SHOULD EXPECT TO SEE THAT AND EVEN MUCH MORE.

WE READ ABOUT PETER AND THE MAN WHO NEVER WALKED BEFORE.THEN PHILIP, THEN PETER AGAIN, NOW LET'S LOOK AT ANOTHER SIMILAR INSTANCE.

THIS TIME GOD IS USING - PAUL IN LYSTRA

ACTS CHAPTER 14: VERSE 8 AND FOLLOWING.

` 4 Acts 14:8 And in Lystra a certain man without strength in his feet was sitting, a cripple from his mother's womb, who had never walked.

9 This man heard Paul speaking. Paul, observing him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed,

Acts 14:10 said with a loud voice, "Stand up straight on your feet!" And he leaped and walked.

NOW LET’S GO BACK IN ACTS FOR A MOMENT TO CHAPTER 4 TO VERSE 13 WE ARE GIVEN THE CHARTURE AND NATURE OF THESE MEN WHO GOD WAS WORKING THROUGH TO BRING ABOUT HIS MIRACLES.

THIS VERSE TALKS ABOUT PETER AND JOHN.

Acts 4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.

SO WE ARE TOLD ABOUT MIRACLES PERFORMED AND AS PEOPLE SAW THESE THINGS THEY TURNED TO THE LORD.

WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN WITH THIS END TIME MOVE?

Pastor Lynette Hagin of Rhema was preaching a message I was listening to about keeping the fire burning and in her message she brought out a prophecy her late father in law Kenneth E. Hagin had given back in April of 1983. She said I want read this prophecy it will help you to understand what will happen in these last days. This is just an exert from the first paragraph of the prophecy.

“In this move, in this move, in this move that is about to come it will not altogether be something new that you’ve never seen, it will be a combination of everything you’ve seen put together plus a little bit more and she continues on reading the prophecy I wanted all of you to hear that part of the prophecy, GOD HAS TOLD THE CHURCH HERE THAT THIS END TIME MOVE IS GOING TO BE GREATER THAN ANYTHING EVER SEEN HERE ON EARTH BEFORE.

WE HAVE READ NUMORIOUS HEALING EXPERIENCES THAT JESUS AND BELIEVERS IN JESUS NAME HAD AND CERTAINLY NOT ALL OF THE MIRACLES THAT TOOK PLACE HAVE BEEN RECORDED.

JESUS COMMISSIONED BELIEVERS THAT IS US YOU AND I FOLKS! THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH BELIVERS

Mark 16:16 "He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

Verse 17 "And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;

18 "they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."

Mark 16:19 So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.

Next verse, verse 20 And they went out and preached everywhere, [[the Lord working with them]] and confirming the word through the accompanying signs.

To summarize what we have talked about.

In Jesus healing ministry we have covered many numerous examples of healings performed by Jesus. 15? MANY OF THEM IN DETAIL.

We read just read about miracles taking place after Christ in New Testament Church, examples about Peter, Philip, and Paul and their experiences and how they went about in Jesus name meeting the needs of the people and the healings that took place “in Jesus name”

We are in the New Testament Church age here on earth today and realize and understand what Jesus said in John 14:12 Jesus telling us, “the works that I do, he will do also”

He Jesus made it clear that healing and deliverance is for us today. We have found out that he has commissioned us the New Testament believers saying “in my name” and that we are to follow in his footsteps and do likewise in his name.
