Church Will Fight Ventura County Threat to Shut it Down

County Medical Director threatens action on Calvary Chapel Godspeak’s refusal to shut down as ordered. Church responds defiantly. Calvary Chapel Godspeak (CCTO- Newbury Park) Senior Pastor Rob McCoy does not shy away from controversy in the name of what he believes right. With no regrets, he watched congregants peel away when he took controversial and politically incorrect positions of principle on multiple social and political issues over the years. But this also attracted new supporters to the congregation and allies such as Sen Rand Paul, Senator Shannon Grove, Charlie Kirk (Turning Point). He turned down a prestigious university deanship to stay and minister to his flock. He attracted supporters who poured millions of dollars into Calvary Chapel to turn the YMCA into a new church.

He was Thousand Oaks Mayor and a Councilman. When he and church elders decided to reopen the church in defiance of government orders, he first resigned his Council office. The church was reopened with strict precautions- stricter than stores open. Around the same time, the county permitted reopening again. When the County recently ordered churches closed again, Calvary T.O. did not comply.

McCoy announced a Saturday evening online “fireside chat,” promising it would be an important announcement, vital to the church/congregation.

It seems that having the church fully open has attracted attention, leading to complaints and threats from the county to “take action”.

During the event, McCoy said County Health Director Rego Vargas contacted him and asked him if he was in compliance with the order. McCoy asked him if he had called all churches and added that they are in compliance with the First Amendment (which keeps government out of religious affairs). He wondered why BLM isn’t being prosecuted for its destructive actions.

He believes that the sick should be quarantined, not the healthy.

County Health Officer Dr. Robert Levin, who has attracted so much attention due to hyper-enforcing state guidelines, claiming the force of law, works for Vargas.

McCoy said he told Vargas to consider his “Return On Investment” in any enforcement actions and that he would vigorously contest any shutdown actions, make it difficult and ensure that it received very high visibility and “national narrative.” The county has had brutal coverage from conservative media for what sounded like threats to forcibly relocate quarantined people and from last week’s forcible lockdown of the apartment building at 137 S. Palm in Ventura.

He said he told Vargas that he might succeed in shutting the church down, but it wouldn’t go quietly and that he might even take it to the President. McCoy said they would demand the unsealing of records to show actual causes of death, testing records and people who were classified positive with no testing, that families would be asked about cause of death and this would be compared with records, claims of causes of deaths.

He told the congregation that the “gloves are off”, that they are “all lawyered up” ready for a fight and that he would hold an emergency meeting with the church elders to decide on next actions.

He noted that some other churches are also defying orders and noted their compliance with a higher authority. But he said we should not shake our fists and said he told Vargas that he was praying for him, asked that God give him wisdom and said that he stood only against his ideology, not him and that the congregation should do the same.

Meanwhile, he solicited everyone’s support and said while “the noose is tightening,” their resolve has grown stronger. He asked them to pray, to spread the word and invited all to live, in-person Sunday church services at 9, 11 and 1 tomorrow. He says he’s not sure if the county would move tomorrow or next Sunday.

Rationale

Prior to making the announcement, McCoy had set the stage this evening by laying out some key points for the congregation:

He mocked Dr. Anthony Fauci’s hypocrisy in telling people they should be wearing masks, making a big show of wearing one while making his disastrous first pitch for the Yankees game, then being spotted up in the stands in a lonely group not wearing masks. He pointed out that “the oligarchy” sets its own rules while mandating more restrictions for others and that they obviously don’t believe what they are telling us. Similar behavior has been observed with other officials and celebrities.

He ruefully observed the Giants nearly all kneeling, compared their conformity to NAZI Germany and pointed out that BLM preaches violence, hate and Marxism.

He berated LA Mayor Garcetti for supporting violent, anarchist, Marxist “demonstrators,” who are unrestricted in movements and association, while imposing draconian restrictions in LA.

He attacked the LA teacher’s union for refusing to go back to work without government defunding police, stopping charter school funding, imposing a state wealth tax, and federal medicare for all.

He said that the virus case numbers are being exaggerated and that the death numbers are plunging.

He criticized the US Supreme Court and particularly swing vote John Roberts for ruling against Calvary Chapel Dayton Valley in Nevada to open, while permitting casinos, liquor stores, etc. open and BLM/Antifa anarchists running wild and in apparent violation without response . He showed Justice Gorsuch’s scathing minority opposition statement. What is “essential?” Is this really about safety?

Christ, not Caesar, is the head of the church

McCoy referred to a statement by John McArthur and the Elders of the Grace Community Church that Christ, not Caesar, is the head of the church. The church is the most high-visibility non-complier in the state at present,

Excerpt:

Therefore, in response to the recent state order requiring churches in California to limit or suspend all meetings indefinitely, we, the pastors and elders of Grace Community Church, respectfully inform our civic leaders that they have exceeded their legitimate jurisdiction, and faithfulness to Christ prohibits us from observing the restrictions they want to impose on our corporate worship services.

Although McCoy invoked the Constitution, Grace Community did not:

Notice that we are not making a constitutional argument, even though the First Amendment of the United States Constitution expressly affirms this principle in its opening words: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.” The right we are appealing to was not created by the Constitution. It is one of those unalienable rights granted solely by God, who ordained human government and establishes both the extent and the limitations of the state’s authority (Romans 13:1–7). Our argument therefore is purposely not grounded in the First Amendment; it is based on the same biblical principles that the Amendment itself is founded upon. The exercise of true religion is a divine duty given to men and women created in God’s image (Genesis 1:26–27; Acts 4:18–20; 5:29; cf. Matthew 22:16–22). In other words, freedom of worship is a command of God, not a privilege granted by the state.

This will infuriate secular progressives, who see no authority of God- or even that He exists and is all-powerful.

Jonathan Leeman responded to McArthur’s essay with compromises to reduce conflict with state authorities and costs, while getting at least something. But his advice to meet outdoors or in smaller groups has also been forbidden in some jurisdictions.

Lastly, there is the thought that church defiance could result in increasing health risk to people. McCoy laid out a case suggesting that the danger has been vastly exaggerated and that he may bring evidence.

It should be an interesting debate and actions coming up.

74% of ALL Deaths ‘Directly’ Linked to Covid Shots, Autopsy Data Shows

A damning new study has revealed that autopsy data shows Covid mRNA shots have overwhelmingly contributed to all-cause deaths around the world.

The bombshell study found that Covid shots are “directly” linked to a staggering 73.9% of all deaths.

The research team behind the study was made up of some of America’s leading oncologists, cardiologists, doctors, and scientists, including:

The study found that 73.9% of all deaths were “directly due to or significantly contributed to” by Covid mRNA injections.

The autopsy data exposes a direct link “between COVID-19 vaccination and death,” the researchers note in their study’s paper.

In the “Background” section of the study’s paper, the researchers explain:

“The rapid development of COVID-19 vaccines, combined with a high number of adverse event reports, has led to concerns over possible mechanisms of injury including systemic lipid nanoparticle (LNP) and mRNA distribution, Spike protein-associated tissue damage, thrombogenicity, immune system dysfunction, and carcinogenicity.

“The aim of this systematic review is to investigate possible causal links between COVID-19 vaccine administration and death using autopsies and post-mortem analysis.”

In the “Methods” section, they note:

“We searched PubMed and ScienceDirect for all published autopsy and necropsy reports relating to COVID-19 vaccination up until May 18th, 2023.

“All autopsy and necropsy studies that included COVID-19 vaccination as an antecedent exposure were included.

“Because the state of knowledge has advanced since the time of the original publications, three physicians independently reviewed each case and adjudicated whether or not COVID-19 vaccination was the direct cause or contributed significantly to death.”

The research team initially identified 678 studies.

After screening for our inclusion criteria, the researchers included 44 papers for the study that contained 325 autopsy cases and one necropsy case.

The mean average age of death was 70.4 years.

The most implicated organ system among cases was the cardiovascular (49%), followed by hematological (17%), respiratory (11%), and multiple organ systems (7%).

Three or more organ systems were affected in 21 cases.

The mean time from vaccination to death was 14.3 days.

Most deaths occurred within a week from last vaccine administration.

A total of 240 deaths (73.9%) were independently adjudicated as directly due to or significantly contributed to by COVID-19 vaccination.

Among those directly linked to Covid shots, the primary causes of death include:

Sudden cardiac death (35%)

Pulmonary embolism (12.5%)

Myocardial infarction (12%)

VITT (7.9%)

Myocarditis (7.1%)

Multisystem inflammatory syndrome (4.6%)

Cerebral hemorrhage (3.8%).

In the “Conclusions” section of the paper, the authors write:

“The consistency seen among cases in this review with known COVID-19 vaccine mechanisms of injury and death, coupled with autopsy confirmation by physician adjudication, suggests there is a high likelihood of a causal link between COVID-19 vaccines and death.

“Further urgent investigation is required for the purpose of clarifying our findings.”

The researchers warn that findings “indicate the urgent need to elucidate the pathophysiologic mechanisms of death with the goal of risk stratification and avoidance of death for the large numbers of individuals who have taken or will receive one or more COVID-19 vaccines in the future.”

The study comes amid a growing body of evidence linking the Covid mRNA injections to multiple deadly health conditions and related sudden deaths.

As Slay News recently reported, another bombshell new global study of 2.7 billion people has just determined that COVID-19 did not cause any excess deaths during or after the pandemic, despite widespread claims to the contrary from health agencies around the world.

However, the same explosive study has revealed that Covid mRNA shots, which were supposedly unleashed on the public to tackle the virus, have caused millions of excess deaths globally.

The study’s comprehensive 521-page report contains hundreds of figures and a detailed examination of excess all-cause mortality during the years 2020 to 2023 in 125 countries.

The dataset analysed by the researchers comprises approximately 2.7 billion people which is about 35% of the world’s population.

The researchers calculated that the global death toll associated with Covid mRNA shots, up to 30 December 2022, was 16.9 million people.

Japanese Biopsy Specialists Prove Covid Shots Cause Deadly Heart Failure

A group of Japanese scientists has used a specialized biopsy technique to finally prove that Covid mRNA shots are causing cases of deadly heart failure to surge around the world.

The team is made up of several renowned researchers and investigators, including:

During their investigations, the team uncovered evidence of vaccine-associated myocarditis or “VAM.”

They warn that VAM can be deadly if left untreated.

However, it can often turn fatal as it’s difficult to diagnose, acting like a ticking time bomb that is only revealed when a person suffers a cardiac arrest.

Early diagnosis continues to be tough due to a broad clinical spectrum of phenotypes and pathophysiology, such as minor focal myocarditis, multisystemic inflammatory syndrome, and fulminant myocarditis.

Nevertheless, the researchers note in their study’s paper that “histological evaluation remains to be fully understood.”

The case report features Japanese specialists proving vaccine-associated cardiomyopathy.

The study’s paper was published in ESC Heart Failure.

It features a case report of a 78-year-old previously healthy female referred by her family physician.

The patient was then admitted to the Narita-Tomisato Tokushukai Hospital for management of dyspnea 11 days after receiving the third dose of a Covid shot – the mRNA-1273 (Moderna) injection.

The patient previously underwent a primary two-dose BNT162b2 (Pfizer) series.

Four days after the Moderna jab, “the patient experienced palpitations and dyspnea, which gradually worsened.”

With a history of mild dementia but no risk factors for coronary artery disease, the physician-investigators report the patient had no recent travel history, contact with patients with confirmed COVID-19, recent infectious prodrome, or any history of alcohol consumption, cigarette smoking, or illicit drug use.

The scientists performed a specialized biopsy which proved the patients died from vaccine-induced heart failure.

They performed an endomyocardial biopsy (EMB), noting that regular techniques would likely miss the VAM.

This study features VAM as evidenced by biopsy-proven dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) – pathological diagnosis of chronic myocarditis and inflammatory cardiomyopathy including (iDCM)

The Japanese specialists revealed that this was the first case of biopsy-proven iDCM ensuing days after heterologous mRNA-1273 immunization.

After performing an EMB, they were able to identify the heart damage and successfully treat it with corticosteroids, saving the patient’s life.

The researchers note that, without the EMB, the patient would have likely died, despite having already been admitted to the hospital, as her condition would have not been detected.

Vaccine-related iDCM is rare but treatable if diagnosed early.

The researchers are now calling on clinicians around the world to perform an endomyocardial biopsy (EMB) on patients presenting with the DCM phenotype following COVID-19 vaccination, especially via mRNA-based product.

This news comes amid a global surge in heart deaths among the Covid mRNA-vaccinated.

As Slay News reported, a recent comprehensive study by leading pediatric scientists confirmed that the devastating surge in heart failure among children is caused by Covid mRNA shots.

The peer-reviewed study, published in the prestigious journal Med, was conducted by scientists at the University of Hong Kong.

The team, led by Dr. Hing Wai Tsang at the University of Hong Kong, uncovered evidence to confirm that Natural Killer (NK) cell activation by Covid mRNA injections causes the pathogenesis of acute myocarditis.

Myocarditis is an inflammation of the heart muscle that restricts the body’s ability to pump blood.

The inflammation causes strokes, and cardiac arrest, and can ultimately cause sudden death.

The study concludes that Covid mRNA shots massively increase the risk of myocarditis among children and young people, especially males.

Top Professor Raises Alarm over Surge in Sudden Deaths

A world-renowned Norwegian professor has raised the alarm over data showing surging sudden and unexpected deaths among Covid-vaccinated young people.

Jarle Aarstad is a professor at HVL Business School, Western Norway University of Applied Science.

The celebrated scientist recently had a letter to the editor published in Germany’s prestigious EXCLI Journal.

Aarstad reported on his empirical analysis of cohorts of young people in England.

In a study, Aarstad uncovered data showing soaring sudden deaths in people aged 12-29 years, during 12 weeks after their first, second, and third injections with the COVID-19 mRNA shots.

The data reveals in this younger aged cohort that deaths increased significantly (95 % CIs) in the 10 or 11 weeks after COVID-19 vaccination compared to the first week.

Professor Aarstad said early on in the pandemic he started to significantly question some of the measures taken by his and other governments.

He noted that in Norway by the first several months of the pandemic, the case fatality rate was not much higher than a bad flu.

However, the response in that nation, including lockdowns and shutting schools down would have severe long-lasting impacts.

He would ask questions to himself like, “Why are we imposing such severe measures in Norway, such as keeping children from school, lockdowns, and such given the actual threat faced?”

During the pandemic, there were various points in time along the way that he felt something was just not right.

One game changer from his standpoint, however, was reporting from independent media outlets.

Early on, he started listening to various sources both in Norway and in broader Europe and England.

Professor Aarstad and his family decided that they would not be opting to receive COVID-19 vaccination.

Using his own critical facility, intuition, and education in economics and business Aarstad started crunching numbers.

He found that in most advanced economies after the first waves of vaccination by 2022 a curious observation: heavily vaccinated nations had higher excess death patterns.

A striking observation: the Norwegian professor submitted multiple papers based on data he accessed from Eurostat and other sources.

However, his studies were all rejected by the “settled-science” establishment journals.

Early on during the pandemic and after the first substantial waves of vaccination, nations around the world began reporting a disturbing trend of surges in COVID-19 deaths among the vaccinated.

With Aarstad’s quantitative observations, it seemed like no journal wanted to discuss such a phenomenon.

Then by late 2022, he noticed substantial excess death tolls in Norway.

Aarstad found it curious that an academic speaking in affiliation with the Norwegian Institute of Public Health declared that the excess deaths had nothing to do with the Covid mRNA shots.

Citing a Nature Medicine paper Nafilyan et al. Aarstad would go on to analyze that paper and found that if the authors had extended the time horizon to several weeks they would have come to the opposite conclusion.

The professor’s analysis of this British data was finally accepted by a German journal called EXCLI Journal a gold open access journal listed in DOAJ, Web of Science, EBSCO, Pubmed, and PubmedCentral; and a backup of the data is kept on the server ELDORADO at Technical University Dortmund.

The Analyses of young people in England aged 12-29 revealed that deaths increased significantly in 10 of 11 weeks after COVID-19 vaccination compared to the first week (blue color in the figure where 95% confidence intervals indicate the probability within the given range).

In three of those weeks, the death rate was at least doubled.

The tendency was the same for each dose.

For example, the probability of death was 1.95 and 2.67 times higher four weeks after vaccination with the first and second doses and 2.67 higher six weeks after the third dose.

Explaining the findings of his research, Professor Aarstad notes:

“The findings deviate from a study by Nafilyan et al. claiming that COVID vaccination did not increase deaths among young people in England.

“By referring to it, Hanne Gulseth at the Norwegian Institute of Public Health has argued that, amid an above 50% excess mortality rate from diseases among young in Norway, ‘There is no evidence the covid vaccine has induced a generally increased mortality.’

“However, a limitation of Nafilyan et al.’s study is that they compared mortality in the first 12 weeks after vaccination with mortality after that.

“Not ruling out increased long-term mortality, i.e., after 12 weeks, it can have masked increased mortality also in the first 12 weeks, which I show.”

Covid vaccination, therefore, cause deaths to soar.

Aarstad continued, “As I find increased mortality after the first week despite this, therefore, indicates that the substantial mortality due to the vaccination is even higher.

Lastly, it is worth mentioning that Nafilyan et al. also found increased mortality from the 25th week after vaccination and forward, compared to the 24 first weeks.

This finding is particularly disturbing as it indicates that Covid injections among the young particularly appear to increase long-term mortality.

“Unfortunately, it may, along with my findings, explain increased mortality among young people in Norway,” the professor notes.

Aarstad warns that sudden deaths caused by the deployment of the countermeasure response across nations clearly demonstrates a disturbing signal, one that should raise alarm.

Professor Arstad explained that independent news outlets, such as Slay News, along with credible authors on Substack such as John Campbell, are absolutely vital for more veracity on life and death topics.

With no political agenda, Aarstad doesn’t profoundly question vaccines generally and he remains cognizant of the importance of pharmaceutical breakthroughs in a modern society.

Yet the pragmatic Norwegian academic is nonetheless raising concerns about the mRNA injections and the measures imposed to supposedly tackle Covid during the pandemic.

Covid-Vaxxed Suffer Staggering Loss of Life Expectancy

People who were “vaccinated” for Covid with mRNA injections have had decades wiped from their life expectancy, a new peer-reviewed study has revealed.

The bombshell study, published in the renowned Swiss medical journal MDPI, has sent shockwaves through the scientific community.

However, the study has further confirmed warnings from leading experts about the long-term impact of the Covid mRNA shots.

The researchers found that the Covid-vaxxed suffered a “statistically significant” loss of life expectancy after two or more doses.

Following a detailed analysis of the study, the McCullough Foundation confirms that those who received two doses of the shots have lost 37% of their life expectancy.

The Foundation, founded by eminent American cardiologist Dr. Peter McCullough, reported:

“The subjects vaccinated with two doses lost 37% of life expectancy compared to the unvaccinated population during the follow-up considered.”

Further, the study found so-called “booster” shots are completely “ineffective.”

This is not some “conspiracy theory,” however.

This conclusion is now documented in peer-reviewed literature.

Steve Kirsch, the MIT computer scientist and data expert who founded the Vaccine Safety Research Foundation (VSRF), responded the the explosive study in a new interview.

Kirsch breaks down what this tragic news could mean for young people.

While the results of the study are causing a fresh wave of alarm over Covid mRNA injections, regarding Slay News readers will likely not be so surprised.

As Slay News first reported last year, a separate study found that Covid-vaccinated members of the public have lost an estimated 25 years of their life expectancy.

However, for the previous study, researchers analyzed government data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Cleveland Clinic Data, and insurance company risk assessment data.

The analysis uncovered a disturbing trend showing life spans plummetting in those who had multiple doses of the shots.

The latest Cleveland Clinic Data and the latest U.S. data were analyzed by Josh Stirling, founder of Insurance Collaboration to Save Livess and former #1 ranked Insurance Analyst.

Stirling’s study shows an incredibly disturbing trend.

The damage to health caused by each vaccine dose does not lessen over time as it appears to continue indefinitely.

The data shows that every year, excess deaths are soaring dramatically as all forms of mortality accelerate, despite the level of injections people take going down.

The issue is not isolated to the United States, however, and is impacting nations all around the world.

Recent government data out of Australia shows that the excess deaths in 2022 were 5162% higher than in previous years.

According to the study based on Cleveland’s government data, the average age of a man is around 80 years if he’s unvaxxed.

Yet, the rate of vaxxed deaths is growing in comparison to unvaxxed.

The study found that someone who’s had 4 or 5 shots and is 30 years old today can now expect to live to 55 at the oldest.

However, according to the latest study, based on newer figures, life expectancy may be reducing.

37 percent of an 80-year-old’s life equates to 29.6 years.

This means 30-year-olds who received two or more shots can now expect to live to around 50.
