Yes, Daniel had a revelations about the end times here is one in chapter seven.
After
reading Daniel chapter seven starting with verse nine through verse twenty
seven some very informative comments written by Jack Hayford.

Hayford’s comments:
7:21,
22 Old Testament: Possessing the
Kingdom, PROPHECY AND THE KINGDOM. Daniel’s
prophecy in chapter seven not only spans the spiritual struggle covering the
ages through Messiah’s First and Second Coming, but it uses two terms
important to perceiving the biblical truth of the kingdom of God: “dominion”
and possess.” “Dominion”
(from Chaldee, chacn, “to govern, prevail, dominate”) is in the hands of
world powers (vv. 6, 12) until the Coming of the Son of Man, at which time it is
taken by Him forever (vv. 13, 14). But
an interim struggle is
seen between the First and Second coming
of Messiah. Curing this season, the
saints “possess” (Chaldee, chacan, “to
hold on or occupy”)
the kingdom. This communicates a
process of long struggle as the redeemed (“saints”) “possess”
what they have received”
(v. 18). The scenario reads: 1)
After the judgment was made in favor of the saints” (a forecast of the pivotal
impact if Christ’s Cross upon which hinged both man’s redemption as well as
his reinstatement to the potential of his rule under God), an extended struggle
ensues. 2) This struggle is
described as the “time” (which) came for the saints to possess the
kingdom.” They do battle against
sinister adversaries and experience a mix of victories and apparent defeats (v.
25). The prophecy
unveils the present age of the kingdom, which is one of ongoing struggle-
with victory upon victory
for the church.
Yet it
withholds its conclusive triumph
until Christ comes again.
This
prophecy also balances
the question of divine sovereignty and human responsibility.
1) God’s sovereignty accomplishes the foundational victory (v. 22 and
in the Cross achieves
the decisive victory
allowing the saints new
dimensions for advance and conquest.
2) He entrusts the
responsibility for that advance to His own to “possess the kingdom,”
entering into conflict with the adversary,
at times at the expense of their apparent defeat (v. 26).
3) However, movement toward victory is theirs as they press the
“judgment” of the “court” (vv, 22, 26) and seize
realms controlled by evil. They
wrestle the dominion from hellish powers, continuing in warfare until the
ultimate seating of the Son of Man
(vv. 14, 27).

Daniel was given this prophecy of the end times over six hundred years before Christ.
Daniel
chapter twelve verses one through eleven.

"At that time Michael shall stand up, the great prince who stands
watch over the sons of your people; and there
shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation,
even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, every one
who is found written in the book.

And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to
everlasting life, some to shame and everlasting contempt.
3
Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and
those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.

"But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal
the book until the time of the end;
many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase."

Then I, Daniel, looked; and there stood two others, one on this riverbank
and the other on that riverbank.

And one said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the
river, "How long shall
the fulfillment of these wonders be?"

Scribe note: 10-10-2023 Israel recently violently attacked, Israelites killed, beaten, taken hostage, butchered etc. I was asked about my thoughts spiritually and what came to mind was, could this now soon start the fulfillment of Ezekiel's prophecy?

It is said the book of Ezekiel was written 593 B.C. – 573.
Here are some highlights God told Ezekiel would be seen in the end days.
38: 1 Now the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
2 "Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, (Russia) the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him,
3 "and say, 'Thus says the Lord GOD: "Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal.
4 "I will turn you around, put hooks into your jaws, and lead you out, with all your army, horses, and horsemen, all splendidly clothed, a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords.
5 "Persia, (Iran) Ethiopia, (Ethiopia) and Libya (Put) are with them, all of them with shield and helmet;
6 "Gomer and all its troops; the house of Togarmah from the far north and all its troops-- many people are with you. (NKJ)
Ezek 38:8 "After many days you will be visited. In the latter years you will come into the land of those brought back from the sword and gathered from many people on the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate; they were brought out of the nations, and now all of them dwell safely.
9 "You will ascend, coming like a storm, covering the land like a cloud, you and all your troops and many peoples with you."
10 'Thus says the Lord GOD: "On that day it shall come to pass that thoughts will arise in your mind, and you will make an evil plan:
11 "You will say, 'I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates'-- (NKJ)
Ezek 38:14 "Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog, 'Thus says the Lord GOD: "On that day when My people Israel dwell safely, will you not know it?
15 "Then you will come from your place out of the far north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great company and a mighty army. (NKJ)
Ezek 38:16 "You will come up against My people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It will be in the latter days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me, when I am hallowed in you, O Gog, before their eyes." (NKJ)
Ezek 38:18 "And it will come to pass at the same time, when Gog comes against the land of Israel," says the Lord GOD, "that My fury will show in My face.
19 "For in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath I have spoken: 'Surely in that day there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel,
20 'so that the fish of the sea, the birds of the heavens, the beasts of the field, all creeping things that creep on the earth, and all men who are on the face of the earth shall shake at My presence. The mountains shall be thrown down, the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.'
21 "I will call for a sword against Gog throughout all My mountains," says the Lord GOD. "Every man's sword will be against his brother.
22 "And I will bring him to judgment with pestilence and bloodshed; I will rain down on him, on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.
23 "Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the LORD." (NKJ)
Gog's Armies Destroyed
Ezek 39:1 "And you, son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, 'Thus says the Lord GOD: "Behold, I am against you, O Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal;
2 "and I will turn you around and lead you on, bringing you up from the far north, and bring you against the mountains of Israel.
3 "Then I will knock the bow out of your left hand, and cause the arrows to fall out of your right hand.
4 "You shall fall upon the mountains of Israel, you and all your troops and the peoples who are with you; I will give you to birds of prey of every sort and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.
5 "You shall fall on the open field; for I have spoken," says the Lord GOD.
6 "And I will send fire on Magog and on those who live in security in the coastlands. Then they shall know that I am the LORD.
7 "So I will make My holy name known in the midst of My people Israel, and I will not let them profane My holy name anymore. Then the nations shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel. (NKJ)
Ezek 39:9 "Then those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out and set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and bucklers, the bows and arrows, the javelins and spears; and they will make fires with them for seven years.
10 "They will not take wood from the field nor cut down any from the forests, because they will make fires with the weapons; and they will plunder those who plundered them, and pillage those who pillaged them," says the Lord GOD. (NKJ)
The
burial of Gog
Ezek 39:11 "It will come to pass in that day that I will give Gog a burial place there in Israel, the valley of those who pass by east of the sea; and it will obstruct travelers, because there they will bury Gog and all his multitude. Therefore they will call it the Valley of Hamon Gog.
12 "For seven months the house of Israel will be burying them, in order to cleanse the land. (NKJ)
Consider these things as America and the world continue to go through these end days.
Psalms 33:10 The LORD brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; he makes the plans of the peoples of no effect.
11 The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations.

God said to our church body by the power of his holy spirit on 9-30-01. "For the days are numbered until they begin to strike out like a blind man trying to hit a fly but all they hear are the sounds and they know not where the fly is. For they shall be like that. And they shall strike and strike and strike and their strike shall cause more strikes to come back. For what they sow, they shall also reap, but they think not upon that. They seek not my face for counsel, they ask not me, but if they were to ask me, I would tell them where he is but they don’t ask me. They go about their own ways with their own intelligence and with their own devices seeking other nations that are not even godly for advice, for information, for counsel, for wisdom. Oh, the foolishness of man, foolishness of man, for they see not where they are at, neither do they understand the times or the seasons or the things that are going on round about them. Nor do they see in my word where these things say that they shall come to pass. They do not know these things. For they counsel not with me. With their mouth they say they serve me but with their heart they are far away."

9-22-02 at the altar after the pm service (third word) :: :: ::Cry aloud and warn those whose hearts are so foolish they shall throw stones at the sleeping dog who is a giant in disguise. Who is that one that dareth wake up Babylon from her long sleep? For only the Lord shall defeat her, for man cannot. I say to you, oh foolish man, when you cry out, let your idols deliver you. Yes, the dogs are greedy; they can never have enough. They have all turned to their own ways and seek the false shepherds who do not even know me or my voice. The watchmen of Israel are blind, they are all without knowledge, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot even bark, dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber. Wake up and come out of your sins and seek my face. Wake up, for sudden destruction lies at your door. The foolish one has awaken the sleeping giant and now her lovers from the north shall join her, can come down upon you and your friend shall not be there to help you, for she is the spiritual Babylon and nations are weeping over her sudden destruction. Behold the Lord’s hand is not shortened that it cannot save, nor his ears dull with deafness that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have made a separation between you and me. Your god and your sins have hidden my face from you, so that I will not hear you. For your hands are defiled with blood and your fingers with iniquity to others and your lips have spoken lies, your tongue mutters wickedness. Once they were a cup of gold in my hand to do good and spread the gospel, but they have turned to their own wisdom and knowledge and followed the ways of the antichrist and refuse to turn back to me. Their false churches follow them, and yet my prophets have warned them over and over and over and they listen not. Yes, truth is lacking, and those who leave my ways for another, go with them to destruction. Oh, that man would hear my prophets and take note of what they say, then it would not be this way. But they will not, and therefore, destruction comes upon them and then upon the evil of the world, for my word has declared it openly for all to see, hear and read. Now comes sorrow, deep, deep sorrow.

The main thing we hear our country saying to God is, ("God bless us".) The overall conduct of this nation does not line up with God’s word. The laws of our land have been changed and now many go against God’s word. Many in the US go their own way, thumb their nose at God, and do their own thing .
We now have abortion on demand, same sex marriages, it is illegal to pray in schools, we take down all references to God in our public buildings and the list goes on. Will God continue to bless a nation that goes in this direction?
According to biblical history the answer is no. Read Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, etc. Past history tells us God gives people warnings and cuts them a lot of slack but it does not go on forever.
Ruth Graham wife of evangelist Billy Graham said something to the effect that if God doesn’t judge America he will have to apologize to Sodom & Gomorrah.

Psalms 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance.
13 The LORD looks from heaven; he sees all the sons of men.
14 From the place of His dwelling He looks on all the inhabitants of the earth;
15 He fashions their hearts individually; [[ he considers all their works. ]]
Look at this next verse 16 the key word here is [["NO"]]
16 NO king is saved by the multitude of an army; a mighty man is not delivered by great strength. (NKJ)
Notice what this verse doesn’t say. [[ No king except America ]]
The thing we hear our leaders say is we have the power we will do it.
Remember these things as events in America and the world continue to unfold.

THE SEVEN SEALS AND THE FIRST SIX TRUMPETS ARE INVOLVED IN THE FIRST HALF OF THE TRIBULATION PERIOD. THE LAST HALF, WHICH SHOULD BE CALLED THE GREAT TRIBULATION, IS USHERED IN WITH THE SOUNDING OF THE SEVENTH, OR THE LAST TRUMPET. THIS IS MY WRATH, MY SEVEN VIALS BEING POURED OUT ON THOSE YET HERE WHO REFUSE TO BOW THEIR KNEES TO ME AND FOLLOW THE ANTICHRIST. THIS, MY CHILDREN, STARTS IN CHAPTER 15. THE CHURCH SHALL GO OUT SHORTLY BEFORE THIS.
IN MY BOOK, THERE ARE SEVEN SEALS TO BE BROKEN. THEY ARE LIKENED UNTO MY WORD. THEY ARE READ, THE TRUMPETS SOUND THEM OR SPEAKS THEM INTO FULL BEING UPON THE EARTH. YET, AT TIMES, THE SEVEN SEALS GO HAND IN HAND WITH THE TRUMPETS. YOU WILL NOTICE A TIME OF SILENCE BEFORE THE SEVENTH SEAL AND LIKEWISE BEFORE THE SEVENTH TRUMPET. THE FIRST SEAL IS THE ANTICHRIST WITH HIS FALSE MOVE WHICH YOU ARE NOW SEEING AND IT SHALL GROW INTO THE FALSE CHURCH. NOTICE HIS BOW, A SIGN OF HIS EVIL CONQUEST. THE SECOND SEAL IS WARS AND RUMORS OF WARS. MY CHURCH IS BEING HIT VERY HARD AND WARS ARE GOING ON IN THE SPIRITUAL AS WELL AS THE NATURAL REALM AND SHALL INCREASE. THIS SEAL IS OPEN. SO IS THE FIRST SEAL. THE 3RD AND 4TH SEALS ARE OPEN AND I HAVE TALKED TO YOU ABOUT THEM. THIS SEAL SHALL INCREASE AND INCREASE. IT SHALL CONTINUE UNTIL YOU ARE TAKEN OUT OF HERE. NOTICE THE 1ST AND 2ND TRUMPET ALSO INCLUDE THIS. THEREFORE, I HAVE TOLD YOU THAT BOTH ARE SOMEWHAT SOUNDED. NOTICE THE 3RD TRUMPET GOES ALONG WITH THIS AND THEREFORE HAS TO TOOT A TOOT SOON NOW. Why do we look at what God says about end-time events?
In Matthew chapter twenty four Jesus talks about what will take place in the end-times and says among other things WATCH.
Matthew 24:42 "Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. (NKJ) also again in
Matt 25:13 "Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming. (NKJ)
Matt 24:44 "Therefore you also be
ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

Why Teach The Second Coming?

Through the years I’ve heard a lot of excuses from pastors and teachers who don’t want to address the Second Coming of Christ. Many of them say it’s just too difficult to understand. Recently, I heard about a layman who was upset with God over the whole matter. He asked, “Why can’t it be simple?” Some of the greatest minds in history have taken on the subject of Christ’s return, and found it overwhelming. Sir Isaac Newton, one of the most brilliant men who ever lived, spent more time studying the book of Daniel than he did pondering the laws of gravity. So, yes, it can be complicated. The deeper you dig, the more treasure you will find. That’s the way it is with all of God’s revelation to humanity. The great themes of the Bible are simple enough for a small child to understand, and complex enough to keep the finest theologians working for centuries to mine their mysteries. But isn’t that good? Don’t you want the things of God to be challenging, exciting, and fulfilling — to the mentally challenged, as well as to the most brilliant among us? Proverbs 25:2 says, “It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.” (NASB) The Swiss theologian, Karl Barth, was famous as a deep thinker and a brilliant scholar. On his one trip to America, a student asked him if it would be possible to summarize his life’s study into a single sentence. He answered in the words of a children’s song. “Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so.” Barth wrote many books and gave countless lectures. He is an example of the fact that the finest scholars find no end to the beauties and intricacies of God’s message to humanity. But that message can also be summarized in the lyrics to a child’s song. A mentally disabled person can grasp the key to it all — “Jesus loves me… the Bible tells me so.” Can the study of end-times prophecy be summarized as succinctly? Yes, it can. We can find that summation in the words of Jesus from John 14:3 — “I will come again.” Anyone can understand that. And what a glorious thing to know! None of the Bible makes sense without it. The Old Testament told of a coming Messiah. He would suffer and die for our sins (Isaiah 53). And He would rule and reign over the entire earth. We saw the first part come true at His first coming. But to fulfill it all, He must come again. Jesus must return because a multitude of prophecies from the Old and New Testaments still await fulfillment. He must come again because justice demands it. And He must return because our world is spiraling out of control, and humanity cannot survive without His direct intervention. Jesus made His Second Coming a central part of His message. He repeated it again and again. In Matthew 24:3, the disciples asked Him, “When will these things be, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” Jesus then spent the rest of that chapter and all the next one talking about His Second Coming. In Mark 13:26, Jesus said, “They will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.” In Luke 21:27, He said, “They will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.” Jesus said to “watch” for His return. In Matthew 24:42, He said, “Be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming.” That means we need to know the signs of His coming. We need to study, and see how scripture lays out God’s end-times program. We need to know the promises He has made — including His promises to Abraham. We know He will keep His word. He will fulfill every bit of it. And that means, He will come again! All we can say is, Praise the LORD.

Jesus Coming For His Bride Isn’t Debatable… And We Should Make Ourselves Ready

Revelation 19:7 KJV – “Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.”
The fact that Jesus is coming for His bride isn’t debatable. The Bible is clear. He will come for us in one of two ways. Either He will come for us at our death, or He will come for us at what is referred to as the Rapture—when believers will be caught up to meet Him in the air, as Paul described in 1 Thessalonians 4. While old age or infirmity may alert us that our physical death is near, the return of Jesus at the Rapture will occur suddenly, with no warning beyond the signs given in Scripture. How do I know? Because He said so! And He is The Truth. He clearly stated that He would come again to receive us to Himself (John 14:3; Revelation 22:20). If I believe what He said about sin, salvation, forgiveness, the love of God the Father, eternal life, His own identity, and all the other big truths (John 3:16–17; 5:17–21; 11:25–26.), then it stands to reason that what He said about His return is equally true. Jesus is coming! “The glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ” is imminent (Titus 2:13)!
We live in a world filled with blasphemy, obscenity, profanity, and outright rebellion against God; a world that is morally, spiritually, and environmentally filthy; a world of selfishness, greed, pride, abuse, where the family unit is being destroyed (2 Timothy 3:1–4); a world of hate, rage, lies, corruption, cruelty, confusion, lawlessness, and delusion. But make no mistake: our blessed hope is that a new world is coming! Even now it is being prepared as a Home for the Son’s bride. And when all preparations are complete, He will come, whether or not we are ready.
The ten young women in Jesus’ story in Matthew 25:1-13 had several things in common: Each had a lamp, which represents a profession of faith. Each believed and expected that the bridegroom was coming. Eventually, all grew so tired of waiting when he seemed to tarry that they went to sleep. But there was also one life-changing, destiny-altering difference: Five of the young women had oil for their lamps, and five of the young women had none. Throughout Scripture, oil represents the Holy Spirit. In other words, half of those waiting for the bridegroom’s coming were ready because they had a personal relationship with Jesus and were indwelt by the Holy Spirit, while the other half had only a profession of faith. They looked the part, they were religious, but they had no oil—no indwelling of the Holy Spirit. They had never been born again. Jesus said earlier that while some people may know His Word, they don’t live it out (Matthew 7:26–27). The apostle Paul described such people as “having a form of godliness but denying its power” (2 Timothy 3:5). In His story, Jesus called them “foolish”.
To be honest, it can be very difficult for you and me to tell the difference between wise and foolish people, between those who have an authentic relationship with God through faith in Jesus and those who are simply outwardly religious. Jesus told this story not to prompt us to speculate about or be judgmental of others, but to stir us to examine our own hearts.
From His point of view, are you wise or foolish? Do you have the oil of the indwelling Holy Spirit? If the answer is yes, praise God! And do all that you can to get someone else ready, too!

As the earth turns in restlessness, volcanoes erupting, politicians rattling their swords, famine sticking its head above the horizon, sporadic shooting already increasing in contested areas, millions of Christians look to the sky and anticipate an appearance of Jesus coming in the clouds. They expect a “pre-trib” rapture to snatch them away at any moment. But it’s not to be. “Pre-Trib” is a heresy that was designed in hell to catch as many as possible unaware and unprepared for the great tribulation we all are about to endure. Jesus will come in the clouds and He will collect His Church, just not when the sleepers expect Him. From the late 1700s to around 1830 a major heresy was introduced into the western Christian Church. It came in slyly mostly through the mouth of a Scottish lass named Margaret MacDonald. Many say Edward Irving, a Charismatic minister and self styled “prophet” conducted the séance in which Miss MacDonald spoke and from her utterance began to develop a doctrine that would eventually become almost as important to its adherents as the resurrection of Jesus Christ. From the tortured dreams of one Scottish lass, the Church by and large has been sucked into believing the doctrines of demons. It is known as the “Pre-Trib Rapture” of the Church. Because literally millions of words have been written about the subject of this article we can only give the barest of outlines as to what has happened causing wholesale acceptance of a doctrine diametrically opposed to Scripture. Because of space limitations we are forced to attempt to condense those millions of words into a few short paragraphs of history. Briefly then, in the late 1700s a teenage Baptist minister to be, and an ex Catholic priest both wrote of their dissatisfaction that the dominant (reformed) Church teachings of 1260 days of Revelation (11:2,3; 12:6) were actually years. The first was Morgan Edwards, the second Manuel de Lacunza with both sometimes being credited with early pre-tribulation thinking. The early 1800s brought Edward Irving, a charismatic Presbyterian minister from Scotland. Being impressed with Lacunza’s writings Irving translated his book into English. Then, apparently around 1825 Irving became acquainted with Miss MacDonald and attended prayer meetings and perhaps séances in her home. Out of that grew the teachings known today as “pre-trib raptureism,” where it is proposed that before the Great Tribulation believing Christians will be taken out of the world, straight to heaven, escaping the 70th week of Daniel when hell comes to earth. Reportedly, Margaret went into a altered state of consciousness and began to speak, telling how the chaste virgins of Mt 25:1-11 would be raptured away prematurely while those not so holy would be left behind to suffer through the tribulation that was coming quickly. Lest there be any confusion, this writer believes in the rapture simply because it is taught in God’s Word. The problem however lies in the timing. Pre-trib is in plain opposition to the Word of God and is built upon “circumstantial evidence.” By reaching from one book of the Bible to another and taking verses out of context and then stringing them together, a hypothetical doctrine emerges out of Scripture that is actually speaking of entirely different things. Let me briefly illustrate; 1Thess 4:15-17 speaks of the Lord descending and taking His people out of this world. 1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. There is no dispute about that event. When this occurs however, is not specified in the passage. From Thessalonians however the imagination of Margaret and those who embrace her ideas take over. By reaching into Revelation a verse is found in 3:10 which says, Re 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. By pinning the second verse to the first, along with a few other cherry picked verses it is assumed and taught the Church will be kept from any part of the trouble to come. The problem is, there is no definition of, or the timing of “the hour of temptation” and therein lies the puzzle. By making the assumption the rapture occurs before the coming trouble, the sense of Scripture is twisted into saying something that is simply not there. When all else fails, read your Bible. Here’s what it says plainly, 2Th 2:1 ¶ Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 ¶ Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. With a straightforward, plain reading the inescapable conclusion therefore is that the day of the gathering (rapture) CANNOT OCCUR until (2:3) “except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition” which clearly places the rapture AFTER a falling away (wholesale apostasy) and the revealing of anti-Christ. The teaching is simple and plain and if wiggle room is found it has to be invented. Because anti-Christ will not be revealed until the midpoint of Daniel’s week (all agree on that), the rapture therefore has to come later. There are those however who are so wedded to their Pre-Trib heresy they contort themselves like clowns attempting to explain away that plain and simple teaching. Dr. Tommy Ice (Pre-Trib Research Center) gets out his theological knife and starts dissecting the Word by arguing the phrase “falling away” translated from the Greek “apostasia” that means “defection from truth” is in his view “a physical departure from earth.” When retranslated from a spiritual falling away into a physical one, Ice then informs us 2 Thessalonians 2 now means the departure of physical bodies into heaven instead of the traditional meaning of apostasy of falling away from the faith. The only apparent falling away for an observer is Dr. Ice’s own. What does all this have to do with current events? There are literally millions of Christians sleeping in the pews totally unconcerned about the descent of the world into a blackness that will end with at least half (almost four billion) people perishing in the probable near future. They don’t have extra water or food on hand and when the crunch comes the present trouble in Venezuela will be looked back upon as a time of bountiful harvest. Famine is going to stalk our land, worldwide souls will die by the billions and our lazy and blind Christians will die right along with the rest. Never having a chance to help someone with food or water, a tract, a kind word or a simple explanation of the Gospel. When the lights go out, these blind Christians will be poking their dead cell phones and puzzling instead of getting about the business of helping their neighbors. Satan has used Lacunza, Irving, C.I. Scofield, Tim LaHaye, Tommy Ice and thousands of lazy pastors who simply repeated what they had been told instead of searching Scripture to find out what the Bible really teaches. As a result, instead of an alert Church ready to help and witness through the coming night we will find them groping about in the dark, staggering from here to there in an attempt to save their own lives instead of being ready to help others. The Church went blind and Lucifer danced. Let it be noted for over 1700 years (70 AD to 1800) there was no such teaching as a pre-trib rapture. Only when Margaret stirred and spoke and only when preachers thought they had heard a new revelation did the pews start filling with Christians looking for an escape from prophesied trouble. Whenever someone had the temerity to question what was being taught the standard response was “Those verses are talking about the Jews which are separate from the church.” No, “those verses” are speaking of believers no matter what their origin. Please take a little time and study the following. Matthew 24 says the rapture (24:29-31) comes after great tribulation (24:21). Mark 13:24-27 teaches plainly the same thing. Luke 21:23-27 also says there will be great trouble before redemption. Add 2nd Thess 2 (et al) and you have many STAND ALONE verses that plainly teach God’s people will have to undergo great tribulation and persecution before Jesus returns to gather them up. Pre-tib teaching attempts to link unrelated Scripture to build a case for an opposite conclusion. It’s more than high time for dispensational and pre-trib doctrine to be carefully re-examined and to reject the teachings of self-styled prophets. Here is a good place to start; “Great Tribulation” and the “Wrath of God” are two different phases of Daniel’s 70th Week. A probable timeline; 1. The first 3 ½ years of the Week are “The beginning of sorrows.” 2, Midpoint, anti-Christ is revealed and sets himself up to be worshipped. 3. Christians and Jews flee to the wilderness to avoid Great Tribulation. 4. Sometime (unknown when) during the 2nd half of the Week, Christ returns to earth and the rapture takes place with all believers (Christians and Jews converted to Christianity) will now be with the LORD forever more. 5. The remainder of the last ½ of the week, the WRATH OF GOD falls on unrepentant earth. Many will find fault with the above and it probably is at fault, but we will soon know the truth of the matter because the days appear to be upon us.
